High quality Family Crests set in a unique Celtic Coat of Arms all in solid Irish Oak.
In this series I have taken the traditional family crest and set it into a unique Celtic knotwork "Coat of Arms" in an attempt to move away from the usual dusty feather plumes, Ermine & suits of armour:))
I have designed the Coat of Arms with 2 Serpents (which represents wisdom in Irish mythology) supporting the traditional Family Crest; thus we get "Tradition supported by Wisdom"
I use Burke's Armorial Register for my Blazonry references. It was originally printed in 1884 and is a comprehensive guide to the Family names of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales up to that time.
The Crests are machined carved to an extremely high standard into solid Irish Oak and then hand painted in the Family's colours as specified by the Blazonry in Burke's Armorial Register.
If you're tired of the cheap tacky mass produced "Coat of Arms" out there then look no further.
I treat each piece as a commission so I will not begin production of the piece until the customer has approved the artwork etc.
We are confident you will not find a Family Coat of Arms of this quality and price ANYWHERE on the Planet!
Crest dimensions:
400x330x38mm (16"x13"x1-1/2") weight 3Kg (6.5lbs) approx.
This piece is fitted with a flush mounted mirror plate for hanging.
Finished in several coats of hard wearing satin lacquer, this piece will last several lifetimes
and become a Family Heirloom!
