The piece measures 935x466x35mm and weighs 4.5kgs approx.
Made from Solid Beech with centre 'jewel' in Irish Yew. The entire poem is engraved around the edge of the cross 'as Gaeilge'.
The Wall Hanging is fitted with a mirror plate for hanging and comes with a gift card.
All Hangings may have a few lines offree engraving on the the back.
Please note due to natural variations in woodgrain your piece may not exactly match the one below.

The Cross is a dedicated to an old Irish poem 'Pangur Bán' written by an 8/9th century Monk.The poem was discovered in the margins of a manuscript (the Reichenau Primer) the monk had been working on and concerns the antics of his cat (Pangur Bán) and the parallels with his own life.
